New releases @ HOH! Just in time for the weekend, 2 great new long styles with bouncy curls. New release gift located in the long hair section near the new release section.

A Bewitching hunt going on at the moment with 35 little witch hats, 6 of which are marked at 0L and the other 29 at 10L, spread out throughout the island, 25 from BWH and HOH and 10 from Bewitched Designs. Included in some of the hats you’ll find, outfits, shoes, everything packs, color packs and accessories.

Just a little get together to listen to some tunes and shake some bootay in the new cafe area between HOH and Bewitched Designs. Grand opening event will still be held on Sunday July 5th, more info to come at a later date.

Holiday freebies out at BWH and HOH until July 5th, Get ‘em while you can!

~~~~To celebrate the  opening of the island of Bewitched, shared with my mama Wiccan, we are having a HUNT!! ~~~~

There are 35 little “bewitching” hats spread out all over the island. HOH & BWH have 25 little hats out with 21 of them set at 10$L and 4 at 0$L, with prizes ranging from single packs, various mixed colors and everything packs.  Wic will also be putting out some goodies for you guys,  clothing and shoes..o.O, 8 of which are 10$L and 2 at 0$L. There are even some goodies for the lads.
So basically you get a crazy load of hair and clothing, for only 290$L if you pick ‘em all up!…I think I’m feverish…lol. The hunt will run from July 1st to 5th….Have fun!!

Also out at BWH and HOH are Canada Day and July 4th Freebies for 0$. Gifts will be out from today, July 1st to July 5th. The Holiday gifts are out in the main hall at both shops…Have a safe weekend!

This morning around 8:56 am SLT tragedy struck the island of Tropical Escape when a magnitude 7.1 earthquake violently shook the 65,536 sq m island. The SLGS (Second Life Geological Society) said there was no indication an earthquake was going to occur let alone a fault line in the region. Fortunately there were only two avatars on the island and both escaped unharmed despite being inside of the now obliterated structures.

The island housed the main stores for both House of Heart and Bewitched Hair as well as about a dozen other smaller shops. Island owners Sheltered Heart and FallinMy Webb issued a brief press release but declined to take questions from reporters. “We plan to move forward with our operations and are excited about what the future holds. We would like to thank all of our loyal customers, friends and family. Most notably we would like to thank Sheltereds mother, Wiccan Sojourner, whom we now share an island with.” Sources close to the couple say they are in high spirits and were fortunate to have recently opened up new locations for both shops on the island of Bewitched.

Insurance adjusters indicated that the structures are damaged beyond repair and are a total loss. “This is a really unfortunate turn of events and shows just how important virtual earthquake insurance is to shop owners” Noted the unnamed insurance rep. “This could have been a lot worse for this couple and their business.”

Sheltered Heart, FallinMy Webb and Wiccan Sojourner will be having a grand opening party on the Bewitched sim Sunday, July 5th to celebrate their good fortune and bright future.

~Main locations for House of Heart and Bewitched Hair have moved to an island called Bewitched!  Bewitched Designs main store is here as well  and we will be reopening the Hair in your Food Cafe within the next week!

~There will be all sorts of events in the near future, including our grand opening which is set to take place next Sunday July 5th. More info will be sent out later in the week about prizes and so on.

~House of Heart has some big things in the works for the next month or so with an overhaul concerning textures, packs and the great “full bright non full bright” debacle. As things move along we will keep ya posted and we will be sending out a survey in the coming weeks to get your input on things you’d like to see happen here with HOH and BWH.

~Releases put out this week are of course at the new location in their sections but in a new special area, as well as the new release gift.

Look for the red backed vendors to find a sweet deal at Bewitched Hair! Get ‘em while they are red hot…as of Sunday they will boxed up and hidden away for good!

There are select styles throughout the Bewitched Hair shop marked at 75% off (43L per pack 175L for an everything pack), these styles have a red backing on them. Also all the styles in the reduced section have been marked 50% off (25L per pack and 100L for an everything pack).

As of Sunday June 28th Bewitched Hair and House of Heart will be moving to another island named…BEWITCHED!…LOL…We will be sharing the island with my fabo mother, Wiccan,  as well so we can work together more closely on future projects. Within the first 2 weeks of the completion we will be holding a grand opening event and we hope to see ya all there:)

Hair Fair 2009

In case you have missed the buzz, the Hair Fair ‘09 has begun! With over 100 designers to choose from there is something for everyone. Lots of the designers have a gift out in their shop, at least one style donating half the proceeds to the Locks of Love charity and there is all  kinds of bandannas to choose from  for bandanna day coming up on July 3rd. Get those L$’s ready for a good cause and enjoy the delectable sights of this year’s fair in all its candy and cupcake wonder!

As promised, but not as soon as I’d of liked, here is part 2 of our New Satellite News series!

The Shopping Districts I’ll be showcasing this evening are The Deck and Retrology.

First up we have The Deck:

Owned by the wonderful Sasy Scarborough, the deck features “Fashion - Fishing - Fun”. Yes it’s true, you can spend your evening dressing yourself up in the latest fashions then head on down to the deck and do some fishing, of course, looking great while you do it! Best part is you don’t have to worry about ruining your new swank digs while baiting your line, isn’t SL great?

Next up we have Retrology:

As the name suggests, this is a retro themed sim with fashions to match! We were on the waiting list here for some time and when the fabulous Neferia Abel of Ivalde, moved her location on Reterology her old spot smelled like home! The sim also features Pin Ups Night Club where regular events are held. Overall this is a very cool place to explore and as you can see we get to snuggle in with our buds like House of Nyla shown below.

The wait is over and the Hair Fair is almost here! Us here at HOH of course have taken part this year and have created 5 new styles to be released on the 20th to the Hair Fair only, with 2 of those styles donating 50% of the proceeds to Locks of Love. Lots to do, lots to see and it’ll give ya that feel good feeling. Ohh and don’t forget to snatch up a bunch of bandanna’s for Bandanna Day!
